LucidePost is a colour studio run by colourist Sarina McCavana, providing remote grading services to clients worldwide.
Prior to becoming a colourist, Sarina established a boutique production company from Antenna Studios in 2004, providing video production services and contributing to a wide range of major video hosting sites. As a self-shooting producer/director, she handled data wrangling, film editing and content delivery via FTPs and emerging file sharing platforms. From 2006, she directed various environmental films for BBC World, filming in different parts of the world, from Africa to Central America, as well as producing many promos for the Internet and UK based businesses.
With her valuable knowledge of technical workflows and a natural creative flair, she narrowed her field of expertise to focus on post-production work for larger media companies and ad agencies, particularly on branded content and documentaries. And in 2013, her passion for colour, art and technology reigniting, leading her to become an established colourist.
Employing her meticulous understanding of colour theory and technical aptitude, her work extends beyond conventional grading, incorporating colour management and creativity to bring out the true essence of each frame.
Since 2018, she has been operating full-time under the umbrella of LucidePost, providing colour grading work to major agencies, broadcast, and streaming TV networks.
Sarina is a certified Blackmagic Design Davinci Resolve Colourist.
