Lucide Post is led by Sarina McCavana, a colourist with 20 years of experience across television and digital content.
With a background spanning the full production-to-post-production pipeline, she brings a deep technical understanding of camera systems, colour management, and delivery workflows. Her work includes projects for Sony, Discovery+, BBC FOUR, Channel 5, Vice, Bloomberg, MTV / Paramount+, Red Bull Media, and more.
She is known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and ability to deliver consistent, high-quality grades across a wide range of formats and platforms.
Sarina is also a certified Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Colourist.
About the Colourist
Sarina’s career in film and television began before 2004, working as an assistant and runner on feature films and TV series, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of production. She later established her production and editing office at Antenna Studios, managing data wrangling, offline and online editing, content delivery, and archival workflows for both emerging and established platforms, including educational, promotional, and NGO content. This foundation gave her a comprehensive understanding of the technical and creative demands of post-production.
In 2006, she directed environmental films for BBC World, filming across Africa and Central America, and produced promotional content for UK businesses and online platforms. These projects strengthened her knowledge of production workflows and advanced her ability to manage complex post pipelines.
Over time, Sarina gravitated toward colour grading, combining her technical expertise with a passion for colour science and visual storytelling.
By 2013, she had established herself as a dedicated colourist for branded content, documentaries, and online projects, working with well-established clients and brands.
Her portfolio spans commercials, short films, and long-form documentary series.
In 2018, she founded Lucide Post, providing professional colour grading services to agencies, broadcasters, and independent filmmakers.
Her combination of hands-on technical experience, natural flair for colour, and meticulous workflow management ensures that every project reaches its full visual potential.
